Located in Fulton County, in the Westhaven area of the City of Atlanta, The Commons is within 10 minutes or 5.5 miles from Morehouse and Spelman Colleges. Right off of I-285 and 15 minutes from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, our community is near Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse School of Medicine and 24 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  In addition to three shopping centers within 1.3 miles, Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, Altanta BeltLine Southwest Connector Spur Trail, West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, Park Pride and the Georgia Aquarium are a short drive away.  Fort McPherson and Dobbins Air Force Base are also in close proxmity to our community, an easy 15 to 25 minute drive.

One of the world's largest, the Georgia Aquarium boasts permanent exhibits, interactive galleries and sea life galore; or visit Zoo Atlanta's huge, modern facility housing more than 1,500 animals from 220 species, including gorillas and pandas. Six Flags over Georgia is always a hit with its high-speed roller coasters and water attractions.
Home of the 1996 Olympic games, Centennial Olympic Park is now filled with walking paths, water gardens and the Fountain of Rings. At Grant Park, enjoy this sprawling green space and recreational area at the heart of one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods. Or, spend the day at Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, a forested 120-acre nature preserve with a trail, waterfall, streams, parking lot and picnic tables.
